Scott Vreeland is the author of Deep Cover, a dystopian science fiction and fantasy novel for young adults and older fans alike. By the end of World War 4, the world escalates into a one-world government that is controlled by powerful mega-corporations with a hidden agenda of their own. Scott was raised in Southern Illinois, where he discovered his love of literature while shelving books as a young adolescent at the local Junior High School library and became an avid reader of science fiction, fantasy, mystery, and adventure stories. His writing of essays and short stories, beginning in boyhood, was of the fantastical supernatural science fiction themes. Scott is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU), having earned his Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English and Creative Writing. He is currently enrolled at SNHU in the MFA graduate program for English and Creative Writing. When Scott is not writing or reading the latest science fiction and fantasy novel, he spends time with his dogs, Max and Lady, often going on adventurous trail hiking throughout the Shawnee National Forest, or exploring the historical sites of the area as a way of creatively inventing new ideas for future characters and worlds.
